Updates in our Partner Offers in response to COVID-19
Based on your feedback we've made a number of program changes to support partners in their response to the ongoing COVID-19 situation and enable customers who do not have access to Teams today to start using Teams as a hub for collaboration that brings together chat, meetings, and Microsoft 365, all in one place.
On 4th May we will discontinue new starts of the Office 365 E1 CSP 6 months Trial offer and introduce new promotions on paid SKUs for Office 365 E1 and Microsoft 365 Business Basic (formerly Office 365 Business Essentials). Those promotions will give customers 6 months free when committing to an annual subscription
Recommended Offer by Audience starting 4th May:
- For new Microsoft 365 customers with more than 300 users: Office 365 E1 on CSP, first 6 months free on annual commitment
- For new Microsoft 365 customers with fewer than 300 users: Microsoft 365 Business Basic on CSP, first 6 months free on annual commitment
- For existing Office 365 Exchange: Online Standalone customers Partner-Initiated Microsoft Teams Trial, 6-months duration.
The CSP Office 365 E1 and Microsoft 365 Business Basic Promos are designed for new customers only and are transactable as traditional paid subscription licenses. Commerce systems will validate that customers meet “New Customer Only” criteria prior to purchase. After the initial 6-month free period, Microsoft will begin billing at normal rates for monthly bills in months 7 through 12 of the annual commitment.
