Exchange 2016 upgrade

Hi We are running Exchange 2010 with 4 VMs (2 CAS/HUB; 2 MBX) with a load balancer. We would like to upgrade to Exchange 2016. Would like to know what is the HA architecture in Exchange 2016 and how can we coexist and migrate eventually decommision the legacy Exchange Servers.

Hello, frentz01. If you want to upgrade your environment from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2016, you have several ways to do it:

- the first way is to upgrade the environment to 2016
- the second is to migrate to the cloud in a hybrid environment. It can be done in the settings of Exchange 2010
- the third is to migrate to the cloud entirely.

The best methods to do any of the ways correctly can be found here.
