Where can I find information about training events?

If you’re considering partnership or already a partner, hopefully you’re exploring the many benefits of partnership and considering the wealth of resources offered such as training. Did you know that Microsoft also hosts training events online and around the globe? This post will give you all the details. If you’re in a hurry, go directly to the three key takeaways at the end.

Microsoft events

Need a one stop event finder? Look no further; the Microsoft events portal allows you to search through all Microsoft events. For partner specific events, simply mark the “partners” box in the filter on the left-hand side. You can also filter by category (in-person or online), products, language, and country.

Events listed cover a wide range of areas and levels from introductory sessions on topics like Power BI and Enterprise Mobility Suite to full day workshops focused on subjects like Advanced Analytics and Azure.

If you’re looking for ongoing information and support, regular webcasts, like What is new in the CSP program?, will give you all the important news, articles, and documents released during the previous month.

Want to get more technical? The Microsoft Tech Summit is another valuable event where you can build your cloud skills, customize your learning, connect with experts, and get inspired.

Sales and Technical training events

Another new place to find events for partners is the Learning Portal. Check out the Solutions pages and scroll down to see the Virtual Events and Onsite Events sections. Whether you’re interested in webinars or hands-on lab workshops, these sections provide a variety of recommended training events designed to fit with your schedule and targeted to the Sales and Technical skills you’re building.

The Partner Community

If you’re reading this, then you probably already know about the Microsoft Partner Community and what a great platform it is for connecting with other partners like you! Check out the Event Discussions boards for posts about upcoming events and highlights from past events. If you know about an event that might be interesting to other partners, feel free to post!

Microsoft Inspire

Take advantage of the upcoming opportunity to connect with over 17,000 business leaders by registering for Microsoft Inspire in Las Vegas, July 15-19, 2018. Microsoft Inspire offers the chance to network and collaborate with other partners like you, Microsoft personnel, and industry experts. Visit the Microsoft Inspire site for information on sessions, sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities, awards, and registration.
