New sales guidance for cloud purchases aligns to our sales motions
In order to provide further clarity into the best way for our customers to purchase cloud services from Microsoft, we’re introducing new sales guidance to help our sellers and partners make the right choices on behalf of our customers. This update to our sales guidance is an effort to bring our legacy programs together with our new commerce experience. At the webinar we will share detailed recommendations to help you decide which sales motion best supports the products and capabilities the customer needs, based on the following applicable criteria:
- Deal-size: What does customer want to buy and how much?
- Deal complexity: Does customer have complex purchasing needs?
- Partner engagement: Is Azure customer engaged with a CSP partner?

Jelle has been working in what he calls “the wonderful world of Microsoft licensing” since 1994. Since early 1998, Jelle works as a Microsoft Licensing Endorsed Trainer (LET).
Jelle develops Microsoft licensing-related training sessions and delivers these to Microsoft staff, partners and corporate customers. He has delivered training sessions across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, the Pacific and the Americas, and received excellent ratings from his students.
