Competency Requirements Collaboration and Content, Messaging and Communication
I'm currently putting together our training plan for the next year to cover the changes to the competency requirements and can't get a clear answer to the new requirements.
Previously we achieved these comeptencies with us having MCSE Productivity and I've laready upgraded mine to MS M365 Enterprise Administrator, but the updated requirements for Messaging and Collaboration and Content show that you need to have MS-100 and then the 2 specific exams for either Exchange or Teams/SharePoint. Does the Enterprise Administrator for fill the requirements as if you do it from scratch rather than upgrade you would have had to do the individual exams, and if not do the TeamWorks or Messaging upgrade exams count.
As Communication competency appears to not have new reuirements is the long term plan to retire this?
I checked with the team and you will need to acquire the specific certificates. Enterprise Administrator would not act as a replacement.
Both competencies will have new exam requirements starting on July 1st, 2019. View the pages for the new requirements for each option.
For the Collaboration & Content competencies, Exam MS-100: Microsoft 365 Identity and Services and the Microsoft 365 Certified: Teamwork Administrator Associate will be the new requirements on July 1st.
