Inspire Structured Networking

We recognize that attending Inspire is a significant time and cost investment for partners. Many of our partners who attend year after year tell us that making just one new partnering connection, be it with Microsoft or another partner, provides them the positive ROI they are looking for. This year, to help drive that ROI and to make partnering easier that the “self-service” option of using Connect in the past, MSInspire has added speed networking sessions during the two-hour lunch time period Monday - Wednesday, so an hour for lunch and one hour to meet with 10 potential complementary partners. Of note, since MSInspire 2017 is a pilot year for speed networking,

  • Only two target P2P groupings will take place this year:  Dynamics with SI partners and ISV’s with SI partners, with North America and Europe regions participating in the pilot.
  • Following a quick introduction, participating partners will connect for 10 five-minute one-one sessions.  A matching process will take place behind the scenes in advance of Inspire to help optimize the chances for good matches, taking into account geography, industry and solution preferences.
  • From a process perspective, the speed networking sessions have been integrated into the Session Scheduler, so when partners pre-register for a speed networking session, they will need to follow the link in the description to submit their networking preferences (1-2 minute short survey). The Microsoft Inspire Structured Networking Team will follow up with a confirmation and exact date and time for the round that best fits these preferences.
  • This pilot has a maximum capacity for 200 partners, so partners are encouraged to sign up quickly and cautioned that we cannot guaranty a spot for everyone.

To sign up for speed networking (Session SN01), go to the following Session link: https://myinspire.microsoft.com/schedulebuilder?p1=eyJzcGVha2VyIjpbXSwidGltZXNsb3QiOltdLCJkYXkiOltdLCJyb29tIjpbXSwic3RhcnQiOiIiLCJmaW5pc2giOiIiLCJwYWdlbnVtYmVyIjoxLCJjYXRlZ29yaWVzIjp7fSwia2V5d29yZCI6IlNOMDEifQ%3D%3D

Please note:

  • When you go to the link, there's a primary and secondary tab, no need to complete the secondary unless you want to sign up for 2 sessions
  • Once you update the profile, there's no confirmation saying you are done, but that's all you need to do, by completing the survey, the system will automatically enroll you in the process.
  • Profiles must be updated by June 18th as starting on June 19th, the system will use this Profile information to auto-match you with 10 complementary partners and assign a specific day and time for your session (there's no option this year to pre-select a day/time).
  • On June 26th, you should receive an RSVP with specific session information, with a reminder note on July 3rd..

Will I get the confimration later on?

If we have multiple team memebrs, do they also need submission or one per ISV ?

Thank you

Re: Inspire Structured Networking

Thanks for completing the profile!  This is to opt into the program.  Once the matching happens you will receive the schedule of the session you are assigned to.

All participants do need to opt in themselves.  Please share the link with any one else you want to participate.

Thanks!

Re: Inspire Structured Networking

Malkit, and just to confirm specifics, yes, multiple people from the same org (ISV or other partner type) can participate and you should receive RSVP with session details by end of the month.
