Hi, There has been a lot of traffic on your partner community forum regarding people having lots of problems with the verification process failing and your partner support team failing to progress the workflow and also failing to maintain an effective level of response when your partners contact them regarding the process failures. There are multiple threads but this is the one I have directly contributed to and am posting this suggestion for improvement as a result of my discussions with your forum admin. https://www.microsoftpartnercommunity.com/t5/Partner-Membership-Discussions/Joining-MPN-stuck-on-Employment-verification/m-p/49488#M1508 Thank you for your kind consideration. Regards, David MPN member for 10+ years.

Currently it is not allowed to buy O365 licenses for internal use as a CSP partner. (Sample scenario 5 in https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/csp-supported-partner-relationships) Technically there is no reason for this, so it would be great if MS would make it allowed so that we can service ourselves and affiliated companies in the same way as we are serving other customers.

It would be handy if it is possible to filter the list view. If a post is read (or clicked) , I'd like it to not be visible in the list. Either by switching a view or having a filter options. Now you can see the bold topics for unread items but I still have to navigate through all the pages to see all posts. It would also come in handy if I could group the list by topic rather than having only the latest post view.

The list of active subscriptions contains multiple lines for the same product. You cannot distinguish between different subscription types:3 annual - annual annual - monthly monthly - monthly This is very uncomfortable. Same in API for distribution. Same in downloadable report. Enclosed a screenshot Would be better to see more detailed information directly on this screen and also in the reports.

I have been working as Microsoft partner for 8 years now and the most chalenging part is to find the right powerpoint presentation for my workshops. For example, Cisco provide a section in partner portal with all sort of presentations (partner programs, customer facing, etc....) It would be great to see Microsoft provide such location where we can find content with good search engine. Aymen MAMI Technical Sales Manager RFC Tunisia

The overall page layout of this community is very inefficient. There is a tremendous amount of white space and I am scrolling and scrolling to read. The posts and response thread are especially bad. It would be appreciated if the style sheets could be revised to provide more content and less wasted space.

Hi, The feedback I have and want to share with you is Solution Partner Certification related. Namely, at the moment required exams to become a Data&AI Solution Partner are more Azure-related than BI-related. Within 7 different certificates which count and are scored + 2 exams which make Partners allowed to be scored there is only one related to Power BI (that is PL-300 known before as DA-100 which we were obliged to pass e.g. for Data Analytics competency we had as Gold Microsoft Partner highly specializing in BI solutions) while the rest is related to Azure. As you can imagine, exams like AZ-104 and AZ-305 are not really close to our daily work and scope of interest while DP-500 is a new Enterprise exam highly correlating to our projects. The main question is whether you may consider adding this DP-500 exam as an alternative to AZ-104 or at least AZ-305. Here is the description of this exam: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/certifications/exams/dp-500 At the moment AZ-104 is the only one that allows being scored for all DA-100 and PL-300 certifications (while allowing people to pass DP-500 instead of AZ-104 would be very natural).

I am new to this group and to my understanding, this group is there to work with you on those ideas that will help you serve your community better. I am a non-profit partner of Microsoft and now in the partner community. ITExperience is a nonprofit that is helping participants transition into the tech industry through trainings on on-demand jobs by collaboration with companies, experts in different tech skills who want to volunteer their time to give back to the community, etc. Our emphasis is on lots of projects work hands-on and our target market is women, underrepresented communities, minorities, etc. In order to serve this community better, this is my idea Problem Statement A lot of people graduate from boot camps, do a lot of trainings online either self-taught or pay some huge amount to get trained, and still don't get to fill the positions out there for jobs. There are very few companies like the big techs that are ready to train a newbie. Most companies want who is ready on the first day to hit the ground running. The big tech cannot employ everyone and only very few get jobs after this trainings either due to network or pure luck. Recruiters don't look at your resume if you don't have some years of experience in tech working in the field. This has made transitioning slow and I am speaking from experience. Solution Portal Lab A Platform where people just work on projects for example participant logs into their portal lab picks up data analyst projects goes through the stages from start to completion by doing the ask- prepare the data- process it - analyse - share and act by applying insights that were shared. The participants do these projects continously, get better at it (training ground). Participants are rated based on how many projects they work on and they also have to subscribe to the platform. Participants have unique identifiers they can share on social media or employers to see the work they have done. Experts The experts that we recruit put the projects into the portal and are rated based on successful completion of their projects, so they are in charge of participants that are enrolled, be ready to guide them through and make sure projects are completed, If possible they get income from these, creating side hustle income. Employers They pay to access our platform, they see firsthand the projects that are being worked on, how each participant approaches the projects, able to see how the analysis was done, displayed, etc. They can filter on candidates etc, They get the right candidate to schedule interviews just to get to know if he is a fit for their organization and not if he can do the work. The portal ties in all entities talked about and can be done for all kinds of projects and reach can be worldwide and with remote working gaining grounds it no brainer. @DanielIkem

Would be useful to have a plug-in in Teams with quick access to various relevant partner org information such as MPN ID, global admin contact and other most common information which is being used/ asked in different occasions.

On the home page you see 5 topics across all communities that are new or have had a recent comment in them. However when clicking the 'View All' link after the fifth post it takes you to a long list of every recent comment. Would it not be better, and easier to navigate if this 'View All' page was grouped by topic as per the homepage so that it is not flooded with all the comments from a popular topic? Perhaps with a counter of unread comments within that topic to note how popular it is? Many Thanks, Alex C Brewer

Many of the organizations are migrating their data from Exchange Server to Office 365. So here in this article we have explained Hybrid Migration for easily migrating the Exchange Mailboxes to Office 365 Environment. To Perform the migration you must have access to your DNS Records Hybrid Migration can be performed only if you are using Exchange Server 2010 and later editions. You must have a third party exchange server installed on your machine. If you have access to all this things then you can proceed with the exchange to Office 365 migration. This is my first question on Microsoft Community and I don't think it will be the last. I just got an EDB file which I think is ok I don't mean corrupted. So the problem is that I have Outlook 2013 which allows me to view PST or MSG files. Now I want to know which method should I try "manual or direct method" to convert EDB file to PST file format? Do I need Exchange Server if I do it manually and what if I do it with software?

I often speak to customers about moving to CSP from an EA however with Servers like Windows Server DC and System Center usually require me to fallback to Open Licensing for the white space. A year or so ago Microsoft announced the price alignment across Licensing Agreemebts because customers should be choosing the licensing program on what’s right for them, not the pricing. By allowing server subscriptions under CSP it simplifies the whole engagement, enables the partner to manage the transaction experience with ease, makes the skus all available under admin.microsoft over the VLSC. From my understanding with onprem software support is still provided direct to Microsoft as opposed to Cloud subscription triage and Premier Support reporting. also include SA renewals, that way a partner can leverage the SA like sku for things like FPP and OEM attach.

Introduce a new renewal option for cloud services called "Eternal" for partners/customers that want to never renew cloud services and pay Microsoft forever for licenses whether they use them or not.

This term is now strongly connected to the #MeToo social movement, so it feels discordant to have it used on this platform.
