XML extensions in CSP
Hello Team
I was wondering if Microsoft Developers can help us having xml extensions also available in the CSP as we have the csv and the pdf extensions. All country regulations are different and some of the countries require the xml extension to process payments
Have a great day!

@VilleNaty : Not sure I fully understand the ask - you are asking to get invoices from Microsoft for CSP sales in a XML format? Can you be more specific what country regulations specifies the format of this data for processing payments?
If there is a country specific requirement, I would recommend to rach out to Partner Center support on this.

Hello
Hope you are doing fine.
We need to continue obtaining the pdf and csv formats in the Portal for all the countries, but we would like to have the xml format also available. In this case Mexico is the one that requires xml extensions since it is a requirement on the country regulations when processing invoice payments, yet we do not know if in the feature this will apply for more countries in Latin America so, it will be fantastic to have xml extensions available in the CSP portal for all the countries
Have a nice day!!

@VilleNaty Since you need this as per local law, I would suggest to contact Partner Center support on this, since base don your description Microsoft has to provide it to you, unless reselling business is excluded from this ruling. You can & should also involve your account team (Which you shoud have as Direct CSP - e.g. a PSAM/CSAM for the ASfP/PSfP suport agreement) in case you don't make progress with the support ticket.

Thanks so much
I have an open case with CSP TrackingID#2301120010003897. The suggestion was to add the request here.
I can contact them again but I am afraid I will receive the same suggestion
Regards!

@VilleNaty There is no way to contact support directly. It has to be done by submitting a support ticket, which is what you have already done. I am doing my best to get to them and have them contact you with what they need from you to move forward. Hang in there!

@VilleNaty I have checked the status of your support ticket and it looks like they tried calling you today. I'm hoping they left you a message and you can return the call.
If you are sill having trouble getting in touch with them, please let me know. I would also love to know when your case is resolved!
Apologies for the delay, I was having technical issues accessing their portal. 🌟

@VilleNaty The support team got back to me and told me our case has been moved to the CSP support team. I don't have a contact for them but I have reached out and I am trying to get one! I did find out that their system requires all of your documents to be PDF's for them to read them. Have you submitted documents that aren't in that form and if so can you go back in and submit them in the right format? Let's do everything we can to keep this moving! I'll let you know when I can get a hold of this other support team. So sorry it's been a poor experience for you, I am doing my best to help!

Hello
CSP Documents are: csv and pdf which is fine and we want to to keep it that way but additionally we need to have xml documentation to be provided from the portal on the invoices, that is the request. Not to modify the existing documentation that CSP provides but to receive xml documentation on CSP

@VilleNaty I heard back from the support team and they say that is not a function supported by Microsoft. They said they have sent you a converter link but that is the best they can do at this time.
I am just passing off the information they are provided me, I'm sorry there is not a better option for you!

Hello
Thanks for all you support. So sad to read that this cannot be done. I think that it is an important feature that should be created in the CSP platform since all countries has different billing and payment regulations that they need to comply and xml format it is requirement for some of them. We can try using the converter but the idea was to have the option to download the xml on CSP so, as the pdf and the csv. In order to avoid double processes and has the opportunity to download all we need in one place.
Thanks for the support!

I agree, it sounds like it's something they should look into or consider as a future feature.
Thanks for being part of the community and sorry it didn't turn out as we hoped. 🌻
