How to delete my developer account?

Hi!

Several years ago I opened a developer account so I could install early Windows Phone 8.1 builds. I never made any app.

Now I moved last year and wanted to change my postal address in my Microsoft account. But there was a place where my old address was not editable. It says:

"This address is tied to your developer account. Visit http://developer.microsoft.com/windows to make changes, then try removing this address again."

I didn't even remember I had this account. So I followed the link and logged in and, lo and behold, my forgotten developer account. So I changed my address in my profile thinking I could then delete the address linked to the dev account in my Microsoft account but unfortunately that was not the case.

So I would like to delete my account altogether but there doesn't seem to be an option for it in the dashboard (correct me if I'm wrong). I contact Microsoft regular support twice but both times they told me they'd get back to me and never did. Microsoft Partner' support is paying and given I'm not a dev I won't pay for that.

So what can I do? Where can I either delete my account or ask someone at Microsoft to do it, who will actually follow up?

Thanks!

@dlalonde Good day!

This is a question for the developer forums.

After looking at this thread seems the only way is to access this URL : https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/support/ and choose this support path:

Is this how you raised a ticket? I believe you should have access to escalate the case and ask for an update.

Contacting Partner Frontline Support would not be the right route in this case.

thanks

Andra
