Enabling MFA for partner portal

I'm struggling to enable MFA for the Partner Portal. This seems overly complicated for something as common as MFA and I'm very frustrated at this point. I finally found something resembling instructions after an hour of muddling around in docs.microsoft.com (it was buried about 4 links deep)

  1. Sign in to the Azure portal as global administrator, security administrator, or Conditional Access administrator.
  2. Browse to Azure Active Directory > Conditional Access.
  3. In the list of policies, select Baseline policy: Require MFA for admins (preview).
  4. Set Enable policy to Use policy immediately.
  5. Click Save.

When I go into Azure Active Directory, I have no option anywhere for "Conditional Access."

I apologize if this is simple, but I'm fairly new to O365 and Azure.

Re: Enabling MFA for partner portal

Sorry to hear that it took so long to find the guidance, starting at docs.microsoft.com it might be complicated indeed. The guidance the notification in Partner Center and other supporting material usually points to is here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/partner-security-requirements - which also includes the steps you also found.

In Azure Portal the Conditional Access node is in the "Security" section of AAD management - so go to portal.azure.com, on the left click "Azure Active Directory" (Or search for this in the top navigation if it is not there), then you might need to scroll a bit down to the security section.

Step 2 & 3 here includes a screenshot: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/conditional-access/app-based-mfa#create-your-conditional-access-policy

If you do still not see, copuld you provide a screenshot from the menu you are seeing in the Azure AD management?

Brilliant! I found it there and was able to enable it.
