This May, Jasmine Reddick, from the Small, Medium and Corporate team within Judson Althoff’s MCAPS organization, will be joining me on MCB Radio to talk about the isolating and exhausting experience of “only-ness.” For Jasmine, that's meant being the only Black woman on teams or other spaces she occupies, and particularly in the tech industry. We’ll discuss the strategies she’s had to employ to prove herself, despite her credentials, experience and high performance throughout her career. And she'll get honest about the emotional toll of consistently feeling pressured to ignore - or wondering if she's imagining - microaggressions.
