Register your solution idea for the Power Platform Gamification 2022

Power Platform Gamification for CAN Partners is happening now through June 2022. This hackathon will be conducted virtually over 5 weeks, in 6 stages. Once you enroll, you will be required to submit the project idea via MS forms. Prepare for the hack by going through the learning content and assets shared with you as part of this EDM, feel free to explore any third-party e-learning to develop best of your skills around subject and connect with your mentors for guidance from Microsoft on dedicated private channel.

Please stay assured on privacy of your concept and solutioning, it will only be shared with MS experts for review and MS seller folks to leverage partner for matching sales opportunity. In the final stage, solution entries will be reviewed by Microsoft panelists and winners declared in June 2022. 

 

| Step 01: Submission for Solution Entry (Ideation)

 

Registration for the hackathon will open on April 25th, 2022. Multiple registrations are allowed per partner. Decide on architecture and concept of Project and fill the form as your entry request in the form link shown in right side.

| Step 02: Preparation & Guiding content (Join Private teams Channel)

 

After above enrollment, you will be added to Private Teams channel with your project title-Partner name. Inside teams channel experts from Microsoft will review the implementation and share suggestions. Any query with respect to ongoing development or architecture can be discussed there. | Step 03/04/05: Solution Review and Recognition

 

03. Upload AppSource/GitHub(optional)- you can submit entry on MS AppSource/GitHub and share us live link (submission date should be from April 2022 onwards.

 

04.Collateral Submission- on Private Teams channel, you will have to upload 15 min (max) full walkthrough of project and 1-2 pager consolidated collateral pdf/ppt including architecture diagram, features, business value proposition and industry story workflow.

 

05. Review & Recognition

We have an impressive group of panelists to review your solutions. Your solution will be reviewed basis the following parameters:

o Industry solution mapping

o Number of Data Sources connector interfaced

o Any Custom connector implemented as part of solutioning

o App connected component- Azure/D365/SAP/Amazon S3/Google Analytics

o Extended Power Portal Design

o RPA functionality added (optional)

o Cross application data writing

1. Who can participate in this Hackathon?

If you are a Microsoft Partner/ISV/MVP/Internal MS, you can participate.

 

2. Can one partner submit multiple entries?

Yes, you will be able to submit multiple entries. The process for participation and submission will start with enrollment entry.

 

3. Will my solution stay protected from compete i.e., privacy for partner asset/idea?

Yes, your solution will be reviewed by Microsoft, and it will be protected, the idea is to showcase your capabilities to industry and sales experts.

 

4. Any mandatory step to focus/prepare?

You have to submit your entry in AppSource, it can be consulting service/App/IP, that’s one of most important qualifier, we advise you to start collecting data together and have a post for AppSource ready while you are in process of building your solution. This carries a big score in winning this contest.

 

5. What are winning KPI’s to focus upon?

Business & Customer Level KPI projection with power of Segmentation and measures, Enriching experience with Power app and flow for 2-way communication, PBI business projections, more cross Microsoft product Integrated design, third party cross solutioning, industry specific end 2 end solution, targeted customer solutioning.

 

6. How will participating in this hackathon help me as a partner?

Building expertise on end-to-end solution, visibility to multiple Microsoft stakeholders on a forum, visibility to tech capacity and delivery confidence, showcasing the solution to existing target customers with built experience. You also get complete support on development hurdles from Microsoft experts during the cycle of solutioning.

 

7. If I am an Azure/Data & AI Partner, can I still participate?

Yes, of course we have Cross cloud solutions projected from Azure and Power platform. we can help you build on your idea and share avenues for transformation with Azure and Power platform together.

 

8. If I am an Teams Partner, can I still participate?

Yes, of course as we have integrated support from Teams and Power platform. we can help you build on your idea and share avenues for transformation with Teams and Power platform together.

 

9. Any region specifics for this hack?

Yes, this hack is primarily for Canada region, therefore your solution offering in AppSource should be for Canada region.
