Harp's Top 8: MPN Newsletter August 2022
New Year, New Start
After two years of Covid disruption, it was great to have at least a small level of in-person connection for Microsoft Inspire this year. I hope you were able to enjoy the event, and that the strategic direction shared on both a global and Canadian level can help you plan for a successful year ahead. See some of the highlights below and remember you can review all the content on-demand.
In Canada, Microsoft Inspire was also when we celebrated Suzanne Gagliese as she retired from Microsoft. Suzanne’s leadership has been valued by colleagues and partners alike and we wish her all the very best for this next chapter.
As we head into the summer and I transition into GPS, I want to thank everyone for giving me such a warm welcome. I look forward to being able to share more with you all around our priorities and direction in the coming months.
Best,
Harpreet Girn,
VP of Global Partners Solutions
1. Microsoft Inspire – and that’s a wrap!
What an incredible Inspire we’ve had this year! We hope that you feel empowered to drive growth and continue to thrive in FY23.
Satya Nadella, Microsoft’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer’s Opening Keynote detailed how Microsoft is unlocking new partner opportunities. Satya shared our path towards the Microsoft Cloud Partner Program, and the announcements of the Microsoft commercial marketplace partnership with Tackle and the ISV Success Program.
Here at our Canadian Keynote, we got to know our new VP of Global Partner Solutions, Harpreet Girn with an insightful fireside chat with Suzanne Gagliese. Harpreet also walked us through the business priorities for Canada in FY23.
Don’t forget you can view our event sessions on-demand to revisit or see what you may have missed. You can search and sort session content using filters based on speakers, topics, themes, and more.
