Limited User LMT
So, one concurrent Limited User gets transitioned to one named Team Member. Is this a printing mistake?
We have some customers who have extended their NAV solution through out the organisation for timesheet, raising purchase requests, approvals etc. using limited users. Each limited user is in the system for 10 minutes a day, using a small amount of functionality, using the web client or apps and removing the need to interface with external applications. This is what the limited users were designed to do.
In this scenario, 10 limited users are good for 80-100 users. If they upgrade to BC, they will be looking at c. £25k of additional licensing cost.
Even looking at the cost, the current limited user is £402, the new Team Member is £268, the customer is not getting anywhere near a like for like upgrade.
Please tell me this is a mistake, before I tell / upset 20% of my customer base.
Re: Limited User LMT
completely agree with you and also this Limited user scenario applies to a lot of NAV IP that is ISV functionality, where the ability to price to Limited users was just about enough to compete with other solutions. This will kill it off!
