Azure Reserved instance

Hi All, 

we have one customer have reserved instance for some machines.

we noticed that there is a reservation "utilization" and it keeps changing values.

can i ask what is this % untlization and is it related to VM peformance?

Hi,

Utilization (%)” refers to % of the time the reservation is being used by VMs running. if I purchase 2 RIs for Standard_D1 in West Europe and only have 1 running VM, this will show 50%. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

The screenshot shows the data for last 24 hours, if your VMs are constantly running the usage should go up to 100% with upto 24 hour delay.
