Azure SQL Geo-Replication
We are looking at data storage offerings from Azure. The current stetement (internally) is to use Cosmos DB for all data storage. The rationale for this is around the geo-replication capabilities vs Azure SQL.
My concern is that SQL would be a better solution for our relational data. My question is that the web site states ERT <30s and RPO <5s for replication within paired regions for Azure SQL.
Our architect has made the statement that these figures are not contractual but is unable to back that up with anything firm. Is this the case? or ar these SLA's contractual?
