Question about rates when becoming eligible for Silver Competency when having a MAP subscription

Hi,

A couple of weeks ago I purchased a Microsoft Action Pack subscription for my start-up company. However, today, I found out that I am now eligible for a silver membership. How does this work in terms of fees? As honestly first paying 400 euros and then having to pay another 1600 euros hurts my wallet a lot since it's already quite empty right now.
