Microsoft 365 Defender for Endpoint licencing
Hello,
we have a customer who wants to switch from Kaspersky to Microsoft 365 Defender for Endpoint as soon as possible.
Microsoft 365 Defender for Endpoint is included in M365 E5 and M365 E5 Security, but isn't Microsoft 365 Defender for Endpoint also available as an add-on, like in the commercial licenses?
I can't find Microsoft 365 Defender for Endpoint for Server in the non-profit products.
Is it only available as a commercial license?
Thanks in advance
Guido

Hi Guido,
Our Microsoft Defender products will have nonprofit offers in CSP starting on May 1st -you should be able to see them now on the May Pricelist Preview.
Please note that:
- Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Plan 1 is included in M365 E3 and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Plan 2 is included in M365 E5. Both of them will be available as standalone nonprofit offers starting on May 1st.
- Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Server is only available as a standalone and that also will be available with nonprofit pricing starting on May 1st.
I hope this helps answer your question.
