Microsoft 365 Business Voice Nonprofit Staff Pricing?

Hello 

Will the new “Business Voice without Calling Plan (Direct routing)” SKU also be available with a discount for eligible nonprofit organization? As audio conferencing and phone system do have the nonprofit staff pricing available. Currently we have some organizations that what to implement direct routing with their business premium licenses and this would decrease cost significantly while at the same time staying compliant with the correct licensing.

I recognise the demand, but right not unfortunately the M365 Phone System Add-On does not have the Business SKU's as an eligible prerequisite.

Phone System works with the Enterprise SKU's including the E1 donation. Ideally we want to bring Phone System to the Business SKU's, hence this will be reviewed in the future.

@Ian_Drew  any updates on this? Seems like it is now possible to add to some of the business SKUs, but I'm confused by the different options. What I see is a $20/mo bundle option that doesn't seem particular to the nonprofit, but it also seems like there is some discounting of unbundled offerings. Can you help us with the lay of the land?

Hi @nick_r, thanks for the question. So, we eagerly await confirmation that Business Voice will arrive with a nonprofit SKU soon, but right now I can not confirm to you when that will be.

Today a nonprofit customer wanting to benefit from Business Voice could add the commercial Add-On to an existing nonprofit M365 SKU. Bear in mind that even when Business Voice nonprofit pricing is launched, we are unable to offer discounted Calling Plans. Hence a nonprofit wanting to also purchase Calling Plans would need to use commercial pricing.

Once we get confirmation of the launch of a nonprofit price for Business Voice then we'll make that announcement in this community, and will likely feature it in an upcoming Partner Community Call and Newsletter. Also there is no non-profit version of the TEams Meeting Room license via CSP (although according to our customer there is a direct, lower cost version?)

Hello @lawtonma,

Sorry, still no update to share on when Business Voice will be added as Nonprofit SKU on WebDirect or CSP.

Regards Meeting Room then there is a $6 per user/mth price on WebDirect but as you know this is not yet in CSP. For now a client could use the Corporate SKU at $15 per uer/mth on CSP, as corporate and nonprofit SKU's can be mixed on one tenant. Then you could switch to a nonprofit SKU as and when that becomes available.

Both the Business Voice and Meeting Room requests will be made of the Modern Workplace business group in the upcoming months.

When we get news we will share within in the announcements section of this community, and I'm sure that Business Voice being added would likely also feature in a subsequent Partner Community call too.

Thanks Ian. We are already providing them meting rooms using the corporate price but they are questioning why!

Hi @laltieri  that's a great question.

Right now the M365 Business Voice SKU will not have a nonprofit priced version. Adding M365 Business Voice nonprofit SKU may be something that is reviewed by the team in the months ahead.

Instead today, you can offer the 'Microsoft 365 Phone System (Nonprofit Staff Pricing)' Add-On SKU which is already available with nonprofit pricing.

FYI There are no nonprofit Calling Plans. Nonprofits can use the commercial Calling Plans if needed.

Okay I see, so does that mean that it is now officially allowed to add a phone system license to a business premium license and not solely the complete business voice package? I know that this has been technical possible but until now it was in violation of the licensing agreements and not available as an add-on license in the CSP program for Business Premium licenses.

This would of course also work for us and please the clients.
