Still no Windows 11 and Office 2021 in MPN benefits

Hello, normally when a new MS prodcut ist released it gets available after some weeks in the partner Center under software and benefits. But we are still not able to download Windows 11 (released in October 2021) and Office 2021, only Windows 10 and Office2019. For example Windows Server 2022 is now available since two weeks and that was releases 09.2021!

The support does not give me a really answer what it is the problem. Of course we have access to MSDN, but we want to use Windows 11 and Office 2021 in production environments.

Does anyone have some informations about that?

@andreasoc : All I can confirm is that the team is working on that currently, but unfortunately I can't mention a specific date when it will be available.

@JanoschUlmer Yesterday I get a new answer from the MS support. They said that there will no Windows 11 licenses available in the Partner Center under benifits.

We have to use from now on the Office365 "Microsoft 365 E3" licenses. If that is true we have instead of 80 Windows licenses only 25.

Can you confirm that if that is correct?

For Silver/Gold core benefit package this is correct, for those O365E3, EMS E3 and Windows 10 Enterprise Benefits where replaced by M365 E3 already last year - see the license table for details. For Action Pack, I heard from the team that they are still planning this, since as it seems Action Pack will not get M365E3.

There are some competencies which have Windows Client licenses on top, I think the statement you received from support was only reg. the core benefit where indeed Windows Client is no longer available.

The total number of licenses depends on the competencies - What level & competencies do you have that you would have had 80 Windows licenses, but only 25 M365E3? There is no way I can combine the benefits to get to this number.

See also Internal Use Rights cloud and software benefit (microsoft.com) for the license table.

we have 70 Windows 10 licenses from (not 80 - sorry):
- Silver Application Development
- Silver Windows and Devices
- Silver Application Integration

yes only 25 M365E3, but I found 50 Windows 10 Enterprise E5 licenses. I think that should work for us.
