Re: 5-0000009329561_Partner account id 5bcca9d9-f142-418d-b402-7ccb0faf7430 failed OneVet validation during Microsoft Indirect Reseller qualification

Dears hello,

the subject of this topic is the same as the email i'm recieving from the support.

They keep asking me to verify the ownership of the domain and the reply is:

Dear Kreshnik,
Thank you for the provided documentation. However, after review, the provided document does not list the name of the actual owner of the domain. Please provide a domain document that shows the domain and who owns the domain so that we can validate the domain is in fact the business domain.

How can Microsoft expect a document on year 2022? 🙂
Why not let me insert a txt verification record on the dns?!
The main problem is that the whois service does not even exist for AL top level domains so basically they just copy paste other reply from other tickets.
This is really frustrating.
I have also provided them screenshots from the manage web app of the registrar but they keep repeating the same stuff over and over without giving me alternatives.

Kindly somebody that can sort this out and help?

thank you

@kreshnik : usually the team is just asking for the copy of an invoice of the domain name you/your company bought. When you obtained a domain name, I would assume there is an invoice?

Kind regards, Janosch (Note: Leaving role as of March 2023, don't expect further answers. Connect with me via LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/janoschulmer)

hello,

well, i don't have the invoice. The domain was bought almost 2 years ago and i did not immagine that it was needed.

Being the owner of the domain, it should be pretty simple to verify it with the TXT Record like Microsoft is doing with office 365 and other services.

I don't understand why this verification needs this kind of document

@kreshnik I just received a notification from support that you have been verified and authorized! 🙂 They say it could take up to 10 days to reflect in the system, but it's usually pretty quick. Can you confirm?
