Microsoft Research Summit 2022: What’s Next for Technology and Humanity?
Today, we are experiencing an unprecedented wave of breakthroughs in computing that are transformative to both research and the sciences. These advances can create new possibilities for humanity—from making AI capabilities more powerful and broadly available, to leveraging technology to improve the quality and accessibility of health care, to changing the very nature of scientific discovery.
To explore these and other cutting-edge technology trends, please join us at this year’s Microsoft Research Summit taking place on October 18-20, 2022. The global research community will convene to share collective progress on these and other innovations that can empower people and positively impact the world around us, exploring a wide breadth of ideas and provocative questions, from the wildly theoretical to the immediately tangible.
Over the course of the event, you will have the opportunity to:
- Hear from Microsoft leaders and a world-class slate of over 120 speakers—roughly half being collaborators from outside of Microsoft.
- Watch plenaries covering “The Fifth Paradigm of Scientific Discovery,” “Emerging Foundations for Planet-Scale Computing,” and “The Future of Human Health."
- Choose from a variety of interesting tracks, such as: “Enabling a Resilient and Sustainable World,” “Amplifying Human Productivity and Creativity,” and “Efficient Large-Scale AI.”
