Photos - there is no app in Office365, isn't it?

For every tasks there is an app available on the internet. Many of them are paid with customers data. Microsoft has some sort of a clone for most of them.

Facebook > Yammer

Slack > Teams

GMail > Outlook / Exchange Online

WhatsApp > Kaizala

But what about Photos? AFAIK there is nothing like flickr or Google Photos available in Office 365.

Does anybody use some 3rd party app in combination with Office 365?

Is Microsoft planning the build / buy something?

Janosch, I see that this is an old question, but I would like to have something like Google Photos in Microsoft 365 with the capabality to share photos (like I already do with MS Stream) to all the company. Being able to find pictures by location (city, state, country), by date when the picture was taken, using other AI capabilities like people recognition, etc.

OneDrive? https://support.office.com/en-us/article/organize-and-find-photos-in-onedrive-6a9b0298-f504-4992-af0e-45e2f270afc9

Not for photo editing, but for photo management, content & face recognition, tagging, sharing, syncing with devices (Recently also made available for OneDrive For Business oin iOS, Android).

For business there is also a photo library in Sharepoint: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/sharepoint-online-picture-library-doesn-t-display-thumbnail-previews-8d7ed7f3-f4bf-4056-880b-709157f1fc1a

And for videos there is Office 365 Stream.

Is there a specific scenario/feature you'd like to see in office 365?

Uservoice has some entries for that, maybe worth adding your vote to this or other feedback items: https://office365.uservoice.com/forums/264636-general/suggestions/19381312-add-a-photo-sharing-service

Interesting to see Outlook/Exchange mentioned as clone for Gmail - guess that drives tears in the eyes of those who developed & launched Hotmail & Exchange years before Google existed 🙂

Kind regards, Janosch
