add new user to partner and cloud partner (azure) portals
Can someone suggest how I can add a user to a partner portal (partner.microsoft.com)?
In fact, I need to add my team members to the cloud partner portal (cloudpartner.azure.com).
However, I believe thar before someone can have a valid login to the cloud partner portal the user has to be added to the partner partal.
I'd really appreciate any guidence on the user management for partner and cloud partner portals.
For the Partner Center the PMC to Partner Center transition guide offers step-by-step guidance on adding users as Partner, see page 33 - https://assetsprod.microsoft.com/mpn/en-us/membership-account-set-up-guide.pdf
However, from Cloud Partner portal guidance it seems you need a developer account, which is in contrary to Partner Center a Microsoft Account( LiveID) (see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/marketplace/cloud-partner-portal/portal-manage/cpp-manage-prerequisites). So adding users to Partner Center alone will not help. You can associate a Developer Account with an account in the Partner Center though. Via the Cloud Partner Portal you can also submit a support ticket if this still does not work.
