Understanding Silver Small & Mid Cloud Competency for Canada

Hello,

I'm looking for some advice around the Silver small / mid cloud competency.

We have qualified several months in a row but only now interested in actually purchasing.  Ive read through the materials in MPN and still have a few that are unresolved.

1) What are the differences for this competency for Canadian partners other than price?

2) When does this expire if purchased today?   Some info says end of calendar year, some posts imply end of current membership cycle.   Our MPN Action Pak lasts till end March.

3) Does the price include all benefits or do we still need to purchase Action Pak as well?

4) Are there any benefits for Azure certifications and training included - I dont mean the MPU, I mean official courses or exam credits.

Welcome to MPC! Please see below answers in line:

1) What are the differences for this competency for Canadian partners other than price?

There is no differentiation between countries. All partners get the same benefits depending on which competency they attained.

2) When does this expire if purchased today?   Some info says end of calendar year, some posts imply end of current membership cycle.   Our MPN Action Pak lasts till end March.

Partner subscriptoins are good for one year from date of purchase.

3) Does the price include all benefits or do we still need to purchase Action Pak as well?

Please review aka.ms/iur (bottom of the page). It has the license table for Action Pack or Competency. If Action pack meets your needs, you can just purchase it when attaining the competency you need to meet the requirements. There's no need to purchase action pack to get the competency.

4) Are there any benefits for Azure certifications and training included - I dont mean the MPU, I mean official courses or exam credits.

Certifications and assessments are one of the requirements to attain a competency. Please review the competency details to view which exam/assessment is required to attain a competency.
