Microsoft Customer Agreement Azure Incentive detail on customer agreement types

The following link describes Microsoft Customer Agreement Azure Incentive:

https://partner.microsoft.com/en-us/membership/partner-incentives

Despite that PowerPoint saying "purchased via EA/SCE" from some discussions, I believe these Partner Admin Link incentives are only for customers with “New Commerce Agreement” types: “Microsoft Partner Agreement” and the “Microsoft Customer Agreement”.

I don't see any information in the cloud performance dashboard or the exports which show what agreement the customer (or subscription?) has. Is there a place to see this or is there a plan to add this information? Or can you clarify how to tell which subscriptions/customers are eligible?

Also, there's a 6% payout if one partner is marked with Partner Admin LInk, but a 2% payout if multiple partners are tagged that way. What if there are more than 3 partners designated with Partner Admin Link? Does that change the 2% payout rule?

@brian_levenson any insight?

Hello! I'm dangerously familiar with incentives but not an authoritative expert...

If you don't get an answer in this forum, you might want to try here: https://partner.microsoft.com/Support

Let me scope the question a little tighter and maybe you can answer it @brian_levenson

Does anything in the partner dashboard or the exports say whether a customer has a Microsoft Customer Agreement?

Re: Microsoft Customer Agreement Azure Incentive detail on customer agreement types

All I know is to checkit invidually for each customer in the Partner Center account where you manage the customers (Which might not be the same account where you manage the incentives)

Partner Center --> CSP --> Customers --> Choose specific customer --> "Account";

Similar you could easily get alist of all using Powershell: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/partnercenter/get-partnercustomeragreement?view=partnercenterps-3.0

But this does not say if the customer also has an Azure Plan - just mentioning this because your initial question was referring to the fact the incentives being available in Azure Plan.

For this i guess ou need to use https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/partnercenter/get-partnercustomerazureplanentitlement?view=partnercenterps-3.0

Thanks for the reply. I will give it a try.

So are you saying Microsoft Customer Agreement assumes CSP?

I assumed CSP 🙂 You are correct, Customer Agreement might also be via other channels.

It appears Microsoft used to have "Offer type" in one of its reports from Cloud Product Performance field where you could see if it’s EA/CSP within subscription, but for some reason from this year they decided to get rid off this column in that report.
