Why when you deploy a wordpress from marketplace 'choose an existing database' option is no more available?

Why when you deploy a wordpress from marketplace 'choose an existing database' option is no more available?

Now you are forced to instance a new mysql server, that's cancels the chance to mount a wordpress in a matter of minutes.

In a mysql server on azure I have more than one database.

and Why there is not a way to setup a marketplace template to a preexisting appservice? maybe on a stage? it would the obvious way to operate if you want proceed with a new version of a preexisting website?

thank you.

Best Regards.

You might to contact the provider of the marketplace template to get answers why this option was removed. There are multiple Wordpress solutions in marketplace, I'm not sure which one you are referring to.

The template is https://azuremarketplace.microsoft.com/en-us/marketplace/apps/WordPress.WordPress

I thought it was issued from Microsoft itself. It's the standard WP template with a windows machine.

Microsoft

It says Wordpress as publisher.

E.g. this Jenkins solution is a 3rd party solution published by Microsoft: https://azuremarketplace.microsoft.com/en-us/marketplace/apps/azure-oss.jenkins?tab=Overview

Yes, true. Anyway I didn't know the setup options were under control of the publisher.  Next time I will do without using the marketplace way, since is no sense create a server for every wordpress.

thanks for answering me.
