what are the contacts used for in marketplace offerings?
we have D365 integration setup for lead management, so all of the leads and content should flow thru there.
just wondering what the contacts will be used for...
also - if a contact is updated on an offering, are you required to re-publish the offering to get the changes to take effect?
Hello! The contact information allows a prospective or existing customer to reach out for pre-sales questions or support. There is also a unique field for CSP contacts so that resellers can engage with your partner team if that is different than general pre-sales.
And, yes, to edit the information, you'll simply modify that field and re-publish. Certification and approval should be quick and easy if that is the only change you make.
