Azure Certification Test Tool Failure
We are in the process of publishing a VM offer to the marketplace. When running the certification test tool it states that "Azure Virtual machines currently support only one Network Controller Card (NIC) and one IP address per NIC". Our VM requires multiple NICs and multiple IP addresses, and we are actually currently running our VM with multiple NICs in our Azure account. So that statement seems incorrect or out of date. If I am truthful in the test and answer that question with 'No' the test fails. Could someone please advise me on this?
Thanks in advance

@ALCO92 : This can only be done by using custom templates for deployment, and you can configure this as an exception in the certification tool. More information here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/marketplace/azure-vm-certification-faq#custom-templates
And you can also reach out to me team (see signature) to get a 1:1 consultation on this.

what does this mean? what steps do i have to do now, i am facing the same problem.. the link does explain that publishers may want use custom templates, but not how to do it..
the same applies for the "locked down offer" paragraph... no actual advise on what to do..
our image is highly customized gentoo linux, it needs multiple interfaces because it acts as a web application firewall and that's also the reason why it is very very restricted regarding ssh access..
i **must** verify my image to get it in marketplace right? because its running and it works but tbh i fear the verification process...
thanks a lot and best regards

@dos : As mentioned in my last post it would be best if you open an advisory request in Technical Presales & Deployment services team to discuss details of how to do this: https://aka.ms/technicalservices
To the question itself, setting up custom templates is in the plan configuration step: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/marketplace/azure-vm-plan-technical-configuration (This article also mentions technical configuration of locked-down offers with no SSH access), but an expert on Marketplace in my team can surely help you further when the documentation is not clear on some aspects.
