• Generally available now, Compliance Manager brings together the Compliance Manager and Compliance Score solutions in the Microsoft 365 compliance center. It maps the controls of complex regulations to recommended actions and associates a risk-based score, along with actionable guidance. Compliance Manager supports more than 150 out-of-the-box assessments for global and industry-specific regulations, with the ability to create custom assessments for customers’ unique business needs. • Extension of unified data loss prevention (DLP) to Microsoft Cloud App Security is now in public preview. This enables customers to extend the Microsoft DLP policy-enforcement framework to Microsoft and third-party cloud apps for a consistent and seamless experience. • Microsoft Compliance capabilities are being extended to Microsoft and non-Microsoft data with the general availability of 25 new data connectors in partnership with Telemessage and Globanet, along with new Microsoft Graph APIs. • Microsoft Graph Change Notification API and Patch API for messages in Teams is now generally available. These APIs enable developers to build apps that can access Microsoft Teams messages in near-real time (without polling) and enable DLP scenario implementations for both customers and independent software vendors (ISVs). Additionally, Microsoft Graph Patch API allows applying DLP actions to Teams messages.
• Other compliance features in Microsoft Teams: In addition to DLP for Teams, Advanced E-Discovery, and Customer Key, Microsoft announced governance features for Teams meeting recordings, along with Teams-specific guidance in the new Compliance Manager.
