IMPORTANT! INTRODUCTION TO THE SOLUTIONS PARTNER PROGRAM
Microsoft Partner Network (MPN) is evolving, and we're launching a new badging program, Solutions partner, for all of our commercial partners.
We're introducing six Solutions partner designations, each mapped to a Microsoft solution area: Business Applications, Data and AI (Azure), Digital and App Innovation (Azure), Infrastructure (Azure), Modern Work, and Security.
The eligibility for Solutions partner designations will be measured by the partner capability score. This score is made up of three categories: partner performance, skilling, and customer success. It's informed by data already recorded in Partner Center.
IMPACT ON EARNING INCENTIVES:
For Partners to continue to be eligible for Incentives in FY23 they will have 2 options:
- Previously achieved silver and gold competencies through Sept. 30, 2022 - Partners must purchase a legacy benefits package associated with their profile at their anniversary date during FY23.
OR
- Attain a New Solution partner designations starting from Oct. 3, 2022
In other words: when their old competencies lapse during FY23, if they do not have one of the two options above, they will lose their incentive eligibility. Up until that anniversary date, they are eligible to earn incentives.
We will make available the list of the New Solution Partner designations by incentive program/engagement as part of the FY23 launch process in Q1.
