Step-by-step guide: How to link your certifications to Partner ID

When you register for an MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) exam or to MS Learn, a personal email address ( e.g. @outlook.at) is required. This will be your Learner ID. After successfully finishing an exam your Learner ID will be provided with a so called MCP ID

How to link your MCP ID to your organization MPN ID ( Microsoft Partner ID).

Step by step – link an MCP ID to the MPN ID

  •  Step 1: Contact the Partner Center Administrator at your organization for your company's Partner Center-Account.

Note:

  • An MCP ID is an individual skilling proof. Therefore an MCP ID can also be unlinked from an MPN ID.
  • The individual who has the Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification must perform the steps to link or unlink their own MCP ID from an organization.
  • A partner organization is measured based on the MCP IDs linked to their MPN ID. This is especially important when it comes to the fulfillment of competencies.
  •  An MCP ID can only be linked to one MPN ID.
