Trying to add my partner ID to managed company and getting error.

I am trying to add my partner ID to the Partner section under the admin console in Products and services. I did let my membership lapse for a few months but renewed yesterday and it says "active" in my account. But when I enter my partner ID i get this message:

"Sorry, we didn't find that Partner Network ID. Please verify it and try again."

This is my partner ID 3642794

I need this resolved in order to continue purchasing licenses for the comany I am working with.
