Trapping error messages from a Printer Queue on Windows Server 2016/2019

How can we trap error messages for a given Printer Queue or Print Manager on Windows Server 2016/2019?

I would like to propose to have monitoring on some servers handling high volume printing as right now is the end-users who notify us about a given issue with the printer.
