Hello @quasal ! Thanks for your question!
Becoming a distributor is very complicated but becoming a reseller is very easy. In order to resell Microsoft's services, you should contact a distibutor like Also, Ingram or TechData and ask for CSP program.

Dear @quasal ! My suggestion is that you talk to your local Microsoft subsidiary in your country. Becoming a distributor is very hard and Microsoft often got enough distributors in any given geography. But it's worth to give it a try if you see that you have a sizeable business and that you have multi-year experience in distributing other brands.

Sorry, doesn't work that way. Suggest that you enroll in MPN and then contact a distributor in your country.

Hi there
I need advise. We are a company (www.rahn.co.za) that consults in the South African financial sector. We specialise in solving data problems. Rahn specialises in Risk Management, Regulatory Reporting and Information Management. We make use of Microsoft products and programs while we consult. How can we benefit from from a Microsoft partnership? I am registered already just not sure how to navigate it and where to read exactly how we can benefit. Your advise and direction would be amazing thanks!
Best

If you are already registered with MPN, your next step would be to purchase an Action Pack subscription. This gives you internal use rights to many of the tools, and opens up some of the other program benefits, like support incidents and marketing help.

Hi Sybil,
Being a more engaged member in the MPN will give you added credibility in terms of certifications and competencies which customers might like. You will also get better access to training and benefits like Azure credits and seats for various Microsoft services.

I try to register my company for days but every time I get stuck. Some requirements are missing I guess. Uploaded any official document to verify I am the owner from the domain and company. Using the support with open Ticket does not help. The answer is always the same. Read the manual. Fantastic. I have read it more than one time but don’t know where the problem is. I need the verification status accepted to use my CSP partner. Could anyone please help. Greetings Alex

Hi Alex ( @tinycompany ),
Registering as a Microsoft Partner is very easy. If your email is associated to your domain, the I can see no reason why it doesn't work. But it sounds like you're trying to register as a CSP and if that is the case and you're stuck - then perhaps you can talk to your distributor and ask them to give you a hand with the registration. The normal approach is that CSPs are indirect and they buy through a distributor like TechData or Ingram Micro.
Hope this helps!

Hi,
I am an independent freelancer and develop software solutions for my clients. For one of the projects, I need to get publisher-verification for an app I've registered on Azure. However as I understand, the publisher-verification isn't possible without Microsoft Partner Network ID.
Now when I try to join Microsoft Partner Program, it asks for legal company information. I don't have any company registered. Is it possible for me to be part of Microsoft Partner Network without a registered business name?
Thanks,
