Compliant use of Microsoft's cloud platforms - here's how to do it!
On January 23rd, Microsoft is hosting a webinar on using its cloud platforms compliantly. The webinar will cover data protection legislation and guidelines on compliance, risk, and data transfer assessments, as well as practical advice on establishing legal and secure data processing when using Microsoft Online Services. The webinar will also provide guidance on what to consider when choosing a cloud solution provider and establishing a good governance model. The goal of the webinar is to help attendees use the cloud in a way that complies with legislation and protects personal data in line with our announcement of the phased rollout of our EU Data Boundary solution to public sector and commercial customers in the European Union (EU) and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA).

In short about the EU Data Boundary:
The EU Data Boundary will allow customers to store and process their customer data within the EU Data Boundary for Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform, and Dynamics 365 services, greatly reducing data flows out of Europe and building on Microsoft's industry-leading data residency solutions. In later phases, the EU Data Boundary will expand to include the storage and processing of additional categories of personal data, including data provided when receiving technical support.
