Since its opening in 1592, Trinity College Dublin (TCD) has been at the forefront of academic excellence in Ireland. Dublin’s landmark campus is renowned for the collegiate community it has fostered over the years. Today, Trinity continues to place students and staff at the core of day-to-day operations, with the university’s Strategic Plan for 2020-2025 underpinned by the ethos “we will be one Trinity community.” Fostering community and connection are documented pillars of this new plan. To achieve this, Trinity partnered with Storm Technology to implement T-Net, a modern communications platform for the TCD staff powered by Microsoft SharePoint.
