Split From SA licenses in separate companies?

Hi all

An end customer with BREP wants to split his licenses in 2 separate companies – owned 100% by the same mother company.

He is moving to D365 BC – can both companies use From SA licenses if there are enough licenses for this?

More: One company is located in Denmark and the other in Malaysia. Can they create the tenant in Denmark and if the answer to first/above Q is yes - can both companies then access this tenant? Thx.
