Azure EA Discount Update
The Tech for Social Impact (TSI) team is aligning the Azure Enterprise Agreements (EA) discount process with the Commercial Azure discount framework. Beginning the first week of February, 2020, Azure EA discounts will be moving to a tiered discount approach (up to 15% depending on qualification), negotiated by the customer’s account team and determined based on expected consumption, strategic alignment, and utilization of Microsoft funding programs to comprehensively support customers.
TSI wants to ensure that when customers are receiving consumption-based discounts, they are being set up for success to strategically utilize Azure through comprehensive investments in technical support and by leveraging funding programs.
For any special pricing, please defer to the account team. If you have a new opportunity, please share it with them and they can work with the customer to come up with a price that is mutually beneficial.
Please note that this discount update applies only to nonprofit EA and Azure Server & Cloud Enrollments, TSI customers are not yet eligible for the Microsoft Customer Agreement (MCA). The business process for enacting the discount is not changing.
Reach out to your customer’s account teams for any specific questions or special pricing.
