I'm not sure I understand the design of the SMB and Enterprise tracks.
If you are a local partner serving enterprise customers in your city, Microsoft will put you in the Enterprise track. If you are global systems integrator serving small businesses, Microsoft will put you in the SMB track.
Small partners have to have 20 functional consultants and developers.
Larger partners serving small business customers have to have 5 functional consultants and developers.
Sounds backwards to me.
I want to run a small business serving enterprise customers. We're a team of ten consultants and we've just won two $1m+ projects to build Dynamics 365 and Power Platform apps for enterprise customers.
But we'll never qualify for a solutions partner designation. I guess I can opt out of the Microsoft Cloud Partner Program and continue selling mission-critical, complex projects with no support or recognition from Microsoft.
